SOLAの展覧会、お陰様で盛況に終えることができました。
SOAPのMabさんが、本展の意図を良く撮って下さったので、転載させて頂きます。
Thanks I have finished my exhibition at SOLA, having gotten many visitors.
Mab@SOAP took snapshots that well show my intention, as refereed below.





入れ物(建築)と中身(美術)は、互いに競合したり共鳴したりします。
建築家が施主や美術家と対立することもあるし、既存の歴史的建造物を、できるだけ生かす形で再開発する例もあります。そのようなケースを見てきて、この「建築家のギャラリー」で念頭に置いたのは、場の建築文脈と協調しつつ、どれだけ自身の作を見せられるか、ということでした。
ドーンと建築を押しのけたり、逆に建築文脈に大人しく収まったりすれば、展覧会としては不成功だったと思います。
A container(architecture) and its contents(art works) are competitive or supportive to each other.
An architect could conflict to his contained Artists or his clients. But in some town redevelopments, some other architects build it up caring for its historical contexts.
Having seen those cases, my primary concern was how much I can exhibit mine in the respect to architectural context.
It would not be my wish If my exhibition were shoving them aside, or submissively belonged in their context.
